Job Overview

This Cypriot Investment Company with a small office in Limassol and Russian owners is looking for an Accountant with excellent English and Russian skills. This role includes general ledger accountability, and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability analysis and month-end close procedure and other special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Maintain proper accounting records for the company
Prepare monthly or daily bank reconciliations as needed
Prepare monthly management accounts for the company
Prepare of year closings
Processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Budget analysis
Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES returns
Reviewing of expenses, etc. as assigned
Other tasks given by the company CFO

Requirements:
University Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Accounting role
Computer literate and familiar with Word and Excel
Fluency in Russian
Fluency in English (written & spoken)
Organisational, managerial skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
Communication and teamwork skills

The working hours are 09:00 – 18:00 with one-hour lunch break

The company is offering a salary of up to 3,500 Euros net per month plus 13th salary
