Marketing Communications Officer


Job Overview

The successful candidate will be expected to create, implement, and oversee marketing communication campaigns that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products.


Job Description

  • Managing the design and production of promotional materials, such as brochures, teasers, presentations, etc
  • Website Management
  • Social Media Management
  • Email Marketing/Reports
  • Keep stock of Marketing Material & Merchandise
  • Organization of company events, conferences, webcasts
  • Overseeing the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences
  • Internal PR
  • Management of databases
  • Researching and analyzing market trends and competitors
  • Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies to set the marketing strategy for the business
  • Setting of Marketing and Social Media Plans and overseeing campaigns
  • Tracking effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings
  • Looking after the budget of the marketing department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment

Your Profile

  • BA in Marketing/Marketing Communications or related field
  • Digital Marketing specialization will be considered an advantage
  • 2–3 years of experience in a Marketing and Communications or PR company
  • Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
  • Excellent written communication skills for producing high-quality content
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Capacity to prioritize and work across multiple projects
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Organizational skills with the ability to deliver a high volume of quality work
  • Design skills/creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas would be ideal but not a must
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Networking and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging social media platforms at a business level
  • Advanced Microsoft Office user
