Job Overview

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Europe’s largest and most successful VC Funds with headquarters in Germany, we are seeking to recruit a Back-Office Specialist to join their newly established Cyprus operations in Limassol. The successful applicant will have approximately 4+ years of experience in a similar capacity and speak an excellent level of fluent Greek and English.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Making payments and updating the information on payments in accounting software (Xero).
  • Communication with the administrators, investors, portfolio companies, banks on all matters related to payments.
  • Signing of different operational documents internally and with external counterparties.
  • Providing data for financial and management accounting.
  • Any other relevant duties as required by Management.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Educated to degree level in Finance, Law, Business Administration or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar capacity is a must, ideally within a VC (Venture Capital or Investment Firm).
  • Fluent English and Greek (Written & Spoken).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Eye for detail, able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Good knowledge Microsoft Office tools.
