Job Overview

Experienced Accountant-Russian-Speaker with analytical skills and a commitment to work efficiently and accurately is required for a permanent job in Larnaca.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Organization and maintenance of the company’s accounting records, including:

– preparation of annual financial statements;

– preparation of Ledger and Trial Balance (preparation of all relevant documentation for audit);

– quarterly accounting, reconciliation of settlements with counterparties;

– filling and submitting VAT forms, payrolls, social insurance payments, GESY;

  • Updating financial information in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed;
  • Full control of the accounting process, implementation of solutions for optimization and automation of accounting;
  • Preparation of corporate documents, preparation and storage of all necessary primary documentation;
  • Preparation of accounting information at the request of the head;
  • Interaction with other divisions of the company, partners, counterparties;
  • Interaction with auditors, lawyers and banks;
  • Work in accounting software B.T.M.S.;

 

Requirements for a candidate:

  • Higher economic/accounting education;
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting in the Republic of Cyprus;
  • Knowledge of IFRS, foreign economic activity standards;
  • LCCI and ACCA certifications are considered an advantage;
  • Knowledge of the B.T.M.S. or E-Soft is considered an advantage;
  • Up-to-date knowledges of accounting and tax reporting principles in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Cyprus;
  • Confident user of PC, MS Office is a must;
  • Fluent and competent knowledge of Russian and English (verbal and writing), Greek is welcome;
  • Verbal and written communication skills, the ability to conduct business correspondence in English and Russian;
  • Commitment to work efficiently and accurately;
  • Professional manner and strong ethical code;
  • Attention to details, organization and responsibility in work;
  • Politeness, benevolence and friendliness in communication;
  • Work permit;

 

Terms:

  • Work in a friendly team, cozy office, in the center of Larnaca;
  • Official registration in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Cyprus;
  • Work schedule 5/2, from 9:00 to 18:00 (acceptable adjustments are possible);
  • 21 days of paid vacation;
  • Trial period 3 months;
  • Medical insurance after the trial period;
  • Competitive salary (will be discussed in the meeting with the candidate);
