The successful candidate will have previous experience in a bookkeeper role or a client
accountant role. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career
within the Accounting field.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping of approximately three (3) low to medium active Group Companies
  • Daily bookkeeping and record transactions on the accounting system and Excel
  • Document and file accounting transactions in an organised manner
  • Prepare bank and other reconciliations upon request
  • Ensure compliance with the accounting standards and principles
  • Assisting Chief Accountant with preparing VAT/Tax Returns
  • Assisting Chief Accountant with calculation and preparation of payrolls
  • Assisting Chief Accountant with preparation of social contribution payments/compliance
  • Clerical/administrative Tasks
  • Liaising with Tax Authorities for any Tax /VAT related matters or to resolve any issues that may occur
  • Ensure compliance with the accounting standards and principles
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Accounting and Finance or relevant field
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
  • Familiar with basic accounting principles
  • LCCI certificates Intermediate and Higher levels would be considered an advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Sofia Financial Management System by CyCom
    accounting software knowledge will be considered as advantage)
  • Communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Russian and English (verbal and written). Knowledge of
    Greek will be considered as advantage)
